When you need quality duplications and want it fast, Astral
Digital Video can help. We print thermal direct-to-disc
in full color, with edge-to-edge coverage, and UV lamination
to ensure durability. The process creates a professional,
glossy, scratch and water resistant finish. Hub printable
discs allow more surface area to showcase your label
design. To top it off, we only use professional quality
discs for the highest compatibility with playing devices.
Duplications are perfect for short run, small quantity copies of your independent film, sales and marketing materials, training materials, product catalogs, and many other applications which require high-quality DVD printing.
Disc Replication
Large quantities are best and most economical when replicated,
or pressed, from a master. The label is offset printed or silkscreened on
to the disc using either a PMS or 5 color process. Whether
they are business card, mini, or full sized discs, we can
fulfill your replication needs. Our contacts with several
replicators allow us to quote you on your next big job based
on speed, price or quality.
Packaging and Design
Present your DVD or Blu-Ray in the traditional tall amaray case or
CD style jewel case. Provide us with your vision and we
will create eye catching inserts for you - alternatively,
you may supply your own artwork. Popular choices for packaging
include eco friendly cardboard sleeves, digipak, standard
and slim jewel cases, amaray cases, and simple paper sleeves.
DVD & Blu-Ray Authoring
Do you have your own video footage but want to add a polished
menu? Perhaps you want to consolidate your corporate
training or introductory VHS tapes onto an interactive DVD.

Duplication
Duplicated discs (burned discs) are manufactured by burning discs similar to that of a computer. Duplication is ideal on runs of 1 to 300 units or rush orders. The advantage to duplicating your discs is speed and low cost on short quantities. The labels are generally printed using thermal technology for a durable finish.
Replication
For units 300 and above, replicated discs (pressed discs) are created using a glass master to press the data onto a disc imprinted with the digital image from your master. This is the highest quality and most cost effective method of manufacturing large quantites. Discs are offset or silkscreen printed with the label.
